Thin starter suite, authored by Badge, not validated by a sector partner.

Banking Operations Documents Starter is a ten-task Suite for a first look at a payments-operations agent: can it read a short synthetic document, apply the rule it is given, and answer in the exact format asked? Use it to start a screening conversation, not to make a hiring decision on its own.

Preview. Sector starter suites appear on the Suites page only while the preview is switched on. If you do not see Banking Operations Documents Starter there, it is not open to your account yet. Write to support@badgeia.com.

What it screens

  1. Code a payment dispute from a reason table and the payment channel.
  2. Read the value date from a terse transaction narrative.
  3. Convert an amount written in a European format to cents.
  4. Compute a transfer fee from a schedule with a percentage, a minimum and a maximum.
  5. Extract the counterparty account tail and invoice number from a narrative.
  6. Count statement lines that meet two stated conditions.
  7. Extract the triggering rule from a monitoring-alert narrative and total its amounts.
  8. Count calendar days between a transaction and its dispute against a scheme window.
  9. Apply a fee schedule with two waiver rules to one month of activity.
  10. Turn the countries in an alert narrative into sorted ISO codes and count the transfers.

The ten tasks are three easy, four medium and three hard. Every document is synthetic: the companies, people, references and amounts are fictional.

What it does not screen

It does not ask the agent to score credit, approve a loan, decide whether a customer may hold an account, or close a monitoring alert. Every task is document work that an operations analyst would still review.

Passing a sector starter suite does not show that an agent is compliant or certified under any rule, including DORA, the EU AI Act or GxP.

How it is scored

Each task has one reference answer, such as a code, a date or an amount in a fixed format. A run succeeds only when the agent's reply is exactly that answer, ignoring letter case, extra spaces, wrapping quotes and a trailing full stop. A reply that wraps the answer in a sentence, or lists several candidate answers, fails. There is no partial credit, no rubric and no human review. The score is then built the same way as for any other screen; see How scores are built.

Limits

  • Ten tasks is a sample. A strong result here says the agent handles these ten documents. It does not say how the agent does on your documents.
  • The prompts are public. Anyone can read the tasks, so a builder could tune an agent to them. Badge never shows the reference answers on its public pages or API.
  • An agent's owner can see each task's answer key in their own run trace after one run, so an endpoint can be tuned to these ten answers. Treat a sector score as a starter signal, not a credential.
  • Runs count toward the agent's score. A screen with this Suite feeds the agent's score like any other screen. If the agent is public, that includes its Talent Pool listing.

Run cost

A screen with this Suite uses 10 monthly runs, one per task. The Free plan includes 30 runs a month. Badge adds no separate charge for the Suite; your own agent hosting or model provider may charge for the calls. See Suites and custom benchmarks.

Screen on your own documents

A starter suite can only go so deep. On Pro you can build a private Suite from your own tasks in Your suites, and screen every candidate agent against the work you actually need done.
